To make a long story short, at that event Rob struck a friendship with another pro hockey player named Dusty Imoo that had flown in\nfrom Canada for this event. In our conversation, he mentioned that he was\nfriends with the guys in &quot;Nickelback&quot;. \nHere\'s where it gets weird. About two\ndays later Rob Ivey was contacted by the local Tri-City chapter of &quot;Wishing Star&quot;\nasking if he had any ties or connections to the band Nickelback.  There is a boy in Spokane named Victor who has Ideopathic Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, a severe heart complication and his &quot;wish&quot; is to meet\nNickelback. Rob immediately got chills on the outside chance that he could\nactually make this happen for Victor. Rob obtained the contact information\nfor Dusty and began the dialogue with him. Rob could tell right away that Dusty\nwas just as passionate about this as he was. After better than 3 weeks had\npassed, Rob was starting to doubt this but then Dusty contacted Rob and said it\nwas going to happen and Victor was going to get the royal backstage treatment. Nickelback\'s management contacted the Spokane wishing star rep and\nthe rest is history. The concert was last Saturday night August 29th, at &quot;The Gorge&quot;\nwhere Victor, his family and his friend all got to attend and meet the band\nbackstage. We especially want to thank Dusty Imoo and Nickelback who we have\ngained new respect for helping Rob make this dream a reality for Victor.</span></td><tr>");
